He subsequently completed his Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2016.

In 2023, he completed formal fellowship training in upper limb and microsurgery under the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
His local and international training allows him to manage conditions ranging from common upper limb problems to complex injuries requiring arthroscopic, minimally invasive or microsurgical techniques.
Approach to Patient Care
His special interests include upper limb sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive procedures and microsurgical reconstruction.
Diagnosis
Dr Jeyasilan believes that effective treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis and a clear understanding of each patientâs needs.
Personalisation
A patientâs occupation, daily activities, sporting demands and personal recovery goals are considered when developing a treatment plan.
Treatment
Whenever appropriate, non-surgical treatment such as activity modification, medication, splinting, injections and rehabilitation may be recommended. Surgery is considered when it is necessary to restore stability, movement and function or when non-surgical treatment does not provide sufficient improvement.
Recovery
His goal is not only to treat the condition but also to help patients return safely to their daily activities, work and sports.
